Hamden Woman Facing Drug Charge, Others After November Traffic Stop

A Hamden woman is facing drug charges after a November traffic stop in Hamden.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, on November 16th, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that was seen being operated with an obstructed license plate and was seen crossing over the double yellow line. During the stop, the operator, Natasha M. Reed was found to be driving with a suspended license. Further investigation turned up drug paraphernalia and cocaine was found on Reed.
Reed was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, Failure to Keep Right, Obstructed License Plate, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree, Unlicensed Operator, and Failure to Notify DMV of Address Change.
Reed was scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
