Discover Cayuga Lake provides hands-on learning opportunities in the interest of sustaining our Finger Lakes waterways for future generations. We offer Eco-Cruises on Cayuga Lake and a variety of stream-based field trips.

Knapp Winery is located on the west side of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes. It is nestled in a valley less than a mile from the shore. A few acres of native and hybrid grape varieties complete the forty acres of the estate.

Our mission is to offer the Southern Tier Region a unique experience that supports local and small businesses in the style of a tasting room. For the past decade, our beautiful state has vastly grown in the farm Winery, brewery and distillery industries.

Our mission at Paddle-N-More is to increase the number of people who participate in paddle sports in the Finger Lakes region. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun atmosphere to teach the skills necessary to go paddling safely.

The vineyard has grown to a total of 6 acres planted in several white varietals: Chardonnay, Riesling, Cayuga White, Vidal Blanc,  Seyval Blance and Vignoles.  While Chardonnay struggles, the others do reasonably well in this unlikely location—Vignoles and Seyval best of all.  The winery grows no red varietals in its vineyard due to the fact that winter temperatures at Six Mile are more extreme than those of vineyards situated closer to the lakes.  

Sned-Acres Family Campground is located on Rt 89 in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. Surrounded by wine country, the campground overlooks Cayuga Lake. You will find peaceful surroundings always kept clean and neat. Whether you are here for the night, week, or the season you will feel right at home. You can enjoy a wonderful visit of the grounds and the lake or quietly camp overlooking our fishing pond. We have grassy sites with sun/shade.

You will view Victorian homes with lakefront gardens and vintage boathouses. Cayuga Lake is over 40 miles long and 430 feet deep. The waters are sparkling clear and approach 80 degrees in summer.
