Heel and Soul Community Project
Heel and Soul is a community-driven project with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide new shoes to children in need before the start of the next school year. The impact of a new pair of shoes on a child's confidence is profound, and we're excited to be a part of this initiative alongside Butcher Boys, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield of the Southern Tier and FOX 40.
The joy on a child's face when receiving a gift, especially one they truly need, is a magical thing. We're thrilled to participate in the launch of Heel and Soul, knowing that together, we can make a difference in the lives of these children.
How You Can Help:
Join us in this meaningful cause by dropping off new pairs of children's shoes by August 16th at:
Butcher Boys 935 Taft Ave, Endicott, NY 13760
Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield of the Southern Tier 47 Riverside Dr, Johnson City, NY 13790
Springbrook at 89 Court St, Binghamton, NY 13901
Your contribution will directly benefit a child in need, giving them the confidence they deserve as they start the new school year.
Heel and Soul was born from the belief that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a pick-me-up. For children, who often lack control over their surroundings, this is especially important. The look on a child's face when they receive something they both want and need is priceless, and it's these simple gestures that can make a lasting impact.
Every child wants, and frequently needs, new shoes to start the school year. This is an opportunity for us to fulfill a basic need and create a positive impression on the youth in our community.
How Your Support Makes a Difference:
1. Raising Awareness: As a compassionate member of the business community, your support helps spread the message about the need for children's shoe donations.
2. Providing Donation Locations: We need multiple drop-off locations throughout the community. Boxes will be provided for the public or your staff to participate. If you have more than one location, each one can join in.
3. Facilitating Distribution: After the donation campaign ends, all shoes will be collected and sorted at a distribution center. Children will have the opportunity to pick shoes that fit both in size and personality. The volume of donations will determine the time requirements for distribution.
4. Celebrating Contributions: Once all shoes have been collected and distributed, a follow-up campaign will celebrate the accomplishments of all participants, recognizing their generosity and impact.
