The Binghamton Black Bears have been red hot over the first half of the season, including in the month of December where they would go 7-1, now Binghamton goalie Connor McAnanama is earning recognition from the FPHL for his performances last month.

McAnanama would be named the FPHL goaltender of the month in December after going a perfect 5-0 through the five games he played. McAnanama would also record a shutout against Danbury back on December 28 where he would make 28 saves for the road win. During the five games the Black Bears starter would have a 1.43 goals against average and also have a .944 save percentage.

The Agawam, Massachusetts native this season has a 14-2-1 record with a 2.17 GAA and .922 save percentage.

Binghamton currently sits with a 19 point lead for first place in the Empire Division as they get set to host Watertown for two games this weekend here at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena.
