The Binghamton Pond Festival is returning this weekend.

The three-weekend event begins Friday night at the Chenango Valley State Park ice rink. Binghamton Pond Fest began in 2016 and features outdoor hockey tournaments, food and beverage options, and family-friendly events.

"Through the years it's just kind of evolved," said Tytus Haller, who serves as the Director of Binghamton Pond Festival. "I mean, the hockey is a huge part of it. Obviously. But, you know, we've built out different entertainment pieces here. The fact that we're in a New York State park and we have that kind of assistance here gives us a very unique playground."

Haller continued: "It's not just a hockey event, it can be an event for the community and basically for anybody to come out and, you know, enjoy themselves and do something different."

The 2025 Binghamton Pond Festival will feature 112 hockey teams competing across three weekends. The festival will be held January 17-19, January 24-26, and January 31-February 2.
