Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipal Offices.

According to a release from the Conference, this committee is responsible for governing the Conference of Mayors and establishing overall policies. The NYS Conference of Mayors is a statewide association representing cities and villages, uniting local government officials in an active network of legislative advocacy, legal guidance, technical assistance, and municipal training.

The selection was made by Conference of Mayors President Mayor RuthAnn Loveless of the Village of Hamilton. Kraham became the 51st mayor of Binghamton in January 2022.
