An Endicott man has been found guilty of Murder in the 2nd degree, among other charges.

According to the Broome County District Attorney, in July 2023, Antoine C. Loup, Jr. drove up to a location in the area of 4 Filmore Avenue in Endicott where a group of people were playing cards and listening to music. The D.A. says at Loup's request, Aaron LeGare approached Loup's vehicle and the two began a conversation.

An argument broke out and Loup produced a gun and shot LeGare, who was unarmed, in the chest. He then fled the scene and hid the murder weapon in the attic of his apartment on North Arthur Avenue in Endicott.

In addition to the murder charge, he was also found guilty of Tampering with Physical Evidence. He faces 25 years to life in state prison, but a sentencing date has not been scheduled yet.
