The Chenango County Sheriff's Office says two people, one of whom is from Binghamton, were arrested in connection with a burglary in the Town of Smithville.

According to the office, the pair was arrested on January 6th after an investigation into a burglary complaint, in which several thousands of dollars' worth of property was taken from a residence over several incidents. 24-year-old Logan D. Tribe-Filhart of Binghamton and 24-year-old Cameron M.C. Curley of Smithville were arrested.

Tribe-Filhart was seen with the property by deputies and citizens of the area, according to the office. More items were found at Curley's residence. Below is a breakdown of the charges each is facing.

Tribe-Filhart was charged with:

  • 2 counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree
  • Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree
  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd degree
  • Conspiracy in the 5th degree
 
Curley was charged with the following:
 
  • 2 counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree
  • Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree
  • Criminal Mischief in the 2nd degree
  • Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd degree
  • Auto Stripping in the 3rd degree
  • False Written Statement
