Bearcats Women's Basketball Snaps Nine Game Losing Streak Against Maine With Win Over Black Bears
Bearcats redshirt junior guard Jadyn Weltz would have a 21 point performance to help power Binghamton to their second conference win of the season taking down Maine 69-59 at the Events Center. The win ends a nine game losing streak against the Black Bears and would be Binghamton's first win against Maine since January 18, 2020.
Four different Bearcats would put up double-digit points, Kaia Goode would finish with fourteen points and go nearly perfect at the free throw line going 10-11. Sophomore Kendall Bennett would have a career-best thirteen points and go a perfect 6-6 from the field, and now her third straight game with double digit points. Yanniah Boyd would also add 10 points in the win as Binghamton improves to 10-6 on the year and 2-1 in conference.
The Bearcats continue their home stand on Saturday taking on UNH at the Events Center.
