A Walton woman was arrested and charged after a larceny complaint in the Town of Franklin.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the complaint on December 29th. The ensuing investigation determined someone had entered the residence and taken property that did not belong to them.

The office says at the end of the investigation, Leanne M. Woolard of Walton was charged with one count of Petit Larceny. She was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in court at a later time.
