An Endicott man is charged after $15,000 worth of crack cocaine and other items were found during a search warrant execution in the Town of Union on Thursday.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the warrant was executed by members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force at 3104 Buckingham Road. The office says 58-year-old Allen L. Hurt was the target of the warrant and he was present while it was being executed.

The following items were found during the search:

  • 252 grams of crack cocaine that had a street value of as much as $15,000
  • Psilocybin mushrooms
  • Paraphernalia used for the distribution of narcotics
  • Approximately $1,100 of U.S. currency

Hurt was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 1st degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree
  • 3 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
