Two Hamden residents are facing several charges, including drug charges after a traffic stop in December in Hamden.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, on December 17th, deputies spotted a vehicle with what they believed were switched license plates. It was discovered that the plate on the vehicle was not registered to the vehicle. During the ensuing traffic stop, it was discovered that the operator, Adam Robinson, had his driving privileges suspended in the state.

A K9 also discovered fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

Robinson was charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree
  • Obstruction of Governmental Administration
  • Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree
  • Reckless Driving
  • Other traffic summonses

Robinson's passenger, Honesty Muller, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree. Both were released on appearance tickets and will appear in court at a later date.
