High school basketball is returning to Visions Veterans Memorial Arena this week.

12 boys teams from Section IV will compete in the Mirabito Coaches vs. Cancer Basketball Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

"You're going to get to see some really good basketball, some exciting programs coming in," said Terry Heller, who serves as the head coach at Chenango Valley and helped organize the event. "Teams that don't normally play each other are playing each other."

Money earned from the event will go to benefit the American Cancer Society. Tickets are just $2 per day to see all of the games.

"You're going to see some intense, hard, well-played games," said Larry King, who helped organize the event. "But an enjoyable factor that usually happens with Section IV basketball."

Games start at noon each day. For more information, click here.
