Walker's Last Second Bucket Lifts Binghamton Over Mercyhurst
Binghamton junior guard Chris Walker would make a layup with 0.6 seconds remaining in the second half to give Binghamton their fifth straight win as they took down Mercyhurst 62-60.
Walker would be a part of a three headed monster on offense as three different Bearcats including Walker would contribute double digit points. Tymu Chenery would have the team high with 19 points, Walker would be shortly behind him with 17, and Nehemiah Benson would have 12 points while also having a team high in rebounds with five.
The Bearcats now improve to 7-6 overall this season and will wrap up their non-conference schedule on the road at Army on December 22 and at Marist on the 29. Binghamton will open up conference play in January 4 at home when they host UMBC
