Binghamton forward Jason DiMatteo would pick up a first period hat trick to propel the Binghamton Buzz to their 17th win on the season defeating the Norwich Sea Captains by a 5-2 final.

After one period of play Binghamton would jump out to a 3-1 lead, they would expand on it in the second period with Griffin Gagnon and Jack Stephen both picking up goals to expand their lead to four goals after two periods.

Norwich would add a goal in the third but that would be as close as they would get as they fall to 15-8-2 and sit third in the East Division.

Binghamton netminder Matthew Ketcham would have 45 saves for his third win on the season.

The Buzz improve 17-6-0 on the season and sit one point back of first place in the East Division behind the Northeast Generals.

Binghamton's next game will be on Friday December 15 against the Rochester Grizzlies in the 2024 NA3HL Showcase taking place in Blaine, Minnesota.

The next home game for the Buzz will be in 2025 on January 10 against the New Jersey Titans
