A Sidney man has been remanded to the Delaware County Jail without bail after he was arrested and charged with violating the terms of his probation.

According to the Delaware County District Attorney, the county Department of Probation had filed a revocation petition against David J. Louden, alleging 10 violations of the terms of his probation.

Louden is accused of failing to report as directed to his probation officer, possessing and consuming alcohol in violation of his conditions, possessing illegal narcotics, and refusing to answer the door to probation officers at his residence.

Louden was remanded to the county jail without bail. He had had a probated sentence for the crime of Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree. This case is scheduled for further conference on December 9th.
