Binghamton Police Investigating Public Safety Threat on Hawley Street
UPDATE: According to a release from the Binghamton Police Department, around 8 a.m., Binghamton Police began investigating a bomb threat at the State Office Building. The threat was directed towards the New York State Attorney Generals regional offices, which are located on the 17th floor of the building.
A Binghamton Police K9 unit and the Endicott Police Bomb Squad searched the building and no bomb was located. The building has since been reopened.

The Binghamton Police Department is investigating a threat that was made to the state office building this morning.
According to a tweet from Mayor Jared Kraham, police are investigating a public safety threat made to the state office building at 44 Hawley Street. Multiple floors have been closed to facilitate the investigation.
Binghamton Police will provide an update when possible.
