100 years ago today, negotiations are in progress for the purchase of property for the construction of a Catholic hospital in Binghamton. The property of Mr. Merritt Corbett at 169 Riverside Drive is being considered for the site of the new hospital.
Several Halloween parties were held in the vicinity last night. More than 500 boys attended a party at the YMCA, a dance was held in the Remlik Boathouse on Tompkins Street, and out at Sky Lake, Mr. Willis Sharpe Kilmer held a Halloween party and campfire for his close friends.
The internationally famous dancer Anna Pavlowa is coming to Binghamton. She will appear at Kalurah Temple on November 11.
Finally, next Tuesday is Election Day, and it is now expected that Calvin Coolidge will get more than enough electoral votes to be elected president.
