Endicott Man Arrested, Charged After Apartment Searched in September

An Endicott man is arrested and charged after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant at a Town of Union apartment back in September.
According to a press release from the Task Force, a search warrant was executed at 709 Christopher Avenue in the right-side apartment on September 26th. Below is a list of the items that were found in the apartment:
- Approximately 62.1 grams of methamphetamine
- Approximately 7.3 grams of fentanyl
- Approximately 219 of various controlled substance pills
- Scale, packaging and cutting agent used to distribute narcotics
- $170 of U.S. currency
43-year-old Steven D. Whritenour was present at the time the warrant was being executed. He was charged with the following:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree
- 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree
- 5 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
