At number five, Union-Endicott's very own Chandler Jones cracks the list.

Chandler is the youngest of the incredibly athletic Jones brothers trio and helped the UE Tiger football team to three straight Section IV Class Double-A Championships before graduating in 2008.

Chandler followed in his brother, Arthur's footsteps, tripping up i-81 to play football at the dome. As a member of the Syracuse Orange, Chandler played for Doug Marrone and made two first-team All-Big East teams, earning recognition nationwide and declaring for the NFL draft one year early.

Jones was picked 21st overall by the New England Patriots and became a contributor on one of the NFL's best teams almost immediately.

Jones started in all but three games his first three years in the league, stacking 23-and-a-half sacks by 2014. Later that same year, Jones turned it on in the postseason, sacking Seahawks quarterback Russel Wilson in the Super Bowl en route to a 28-24 win in Super Bowl 49.

Jones' career only grew bigger afterward, however, earning his first pro-bowl nod in 2015 after picking up 12-and-a-half sacks.

In the offseason, Jones was traded to the Arizona Cardinals, where he once again took another step up...

In his second year in red, Jones led the NFL in sacks and tackles-for-less with 17 and 28, respectively while earning his first of two All-Pro honors.

Chandler followed up that season with seasons of 12 and 19 sacks and even led the league with eight forced fumbles in 2019 before being sidelined in 2020 with an injury.

Jones played one productive season with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 but Chandler was released in September 2023 after he was arrested for allegedly violating a domestic violence temporary protective order. He has not played in the league since. If that is the last we see of Chandler Jones in the NFL, he ranks in the top 20 all-time with 34 forced fumbles and in the top 30 all-time with 112 sacks.
