18-Year-Old Endicott Woman Arrested After Shots Fired At Binghamton Home
Binghamton police have arrested an 18-year-old woman from Endicott after she allegedly fired two rounds at an occupied two-family home on Catherine Street in the City of Binghamton.
Police say it started with a dispute between the suspect, Armon Murphy, and another female whom she knew. At some point, Murphy pulled out a handgun from her bag and shot at home, according to police.
Officers responded to the incident at 3 p.m. on August 18th in the area of 7 Catherine Street for a report of a fight in the street and shots fired. Investigators later found two spent shell casings in the road.
Police arrested Murphy at an Endicott residence. She is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of reckless endangerment. Murphy was arraigned on August 19th and sent to Broome County Jail.
