An Oneonta man is sentenced for his role in a theft from a Tractor Supply store in the Town of Davenport last October.

According to the Delaware County District Attorney, Tadd Sherwood pleaded guilty to the charge of Petit Larceny and was sentenced to one year of incarceration. The D.A. says last August, Sherwood and Autumn Knapp stole merchandise valued at $1,368.77 from a Tractor Supply in Davenport. The items taken consisted of Carhartt and Ariat brand clothing, a trail camera, electronic equipment, power tools, and tote bags.

The duo placed the stolen items in duffel bags and fled in a gray Mazda 3. A review of security camera footage and the license plate on the Mazda led to their identifications. Arrest warrants were issued in October. Knapp was arrested at the end of the month, and Sherwood was arrested in mid-November.
