Cornell Cooperative Extension announces new upgrades to the Cutler Botanic Gardens have been completed.

The new upgrades include a rock wall barrier around a portion of the garden, a newly designed waterfall, a hydrangea garden, and a wildflower meadow.

Some other designs include a new stairway and railing, topped off with a labyrinth with a sculpture in the middle, which was designed by Windsor High School students.

The upgrades were funded by the Hoyt Foundation, with hopes of helping to enhance the experience for visitors.

"I hope that people do come here. I hope that they do learn a little bit about horticulture and plants and trees and landscaping techniques. And yes, I see a benefit in just getting out and enjoying nature," said Linda Svoboda, Horticulture Program Educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension.
