The Tioga County Sheriff's Office says three people have been arrested and are facing several drug charges.

According to the office, a warrant check was conducted in early June at a Sawyer Road residence in the Town of Owego after deputies received information that a wanted person may have been there. Samantha M. McKibbin was located and arrested on an active felony arrest warrant for violating probation conditions for a conviction of Attempted Arson in the 3rd degree.

While McKibbin was being arrested, a quantity of suspected narcotics were found in plain view. A search warrant was executed and the following items were found:

  • Approximately 4.96 ounces of meth
  • Packaging materials and scales
  • $551
  • A sawed-off 20-gauge shotgun

McKibbin and another resident, Dan Perry were charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree: Methamphetamine
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree: Methamphetamine with
    Intent to Sell
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree: Previous Felony Conviction
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree: Drug Packaging
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree: Scales

Perry was not at the residence at the time. However, an arrest warrant was issued for him on June 11th. He was located in the City of Binghamton on June 24th, and arrested. Both McKibbin and Perry were committed to the Tioga County Jail on no bail.

Also, on June 11th, an arrest warrant was issued for a third person in connection with the search warrant. This one was for Kassandra M. Jordan of Ithaca. Jordan turned herself in on July 2nd and was charged with the following:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree: Methamphetamine with Intent
    to Sell
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree: Drug Packaging
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree: Scales

Jordan was arraigned and released on her own recognizance to appear in court on July 9th.
