The Rumble Ponies would drop their series finale to the Portland Sea Dogs in a 9-1 final on Sunday afternoon at Mirabito Stadium.

Portland would jump out to an early 2-0 lead before Drake Osborn would get the lone run of the day for Binghamton in the 2nd inning off of an RBI double which would score JT Schwartz.

After that it would be all Sea Dogs as they would add one run in the fourth, two runs in the fifth, and then four runs in the sixth to run away with the contest. Marcelo Mayer would highlight the day for Portland having two hits and two runs, including his seventh homer on the year in the fifth inning.

Binghamton drops their first series of the second half of the season to sit at 2-3 in the Eastern League Northeast Division standings, the Rumble Ponies will have a quick turnaround though as they will begin their series with Hartford on Monday night at Mirabito Stadium.
