An Endicott man pleads guilty to a weapons charge from an incident dating back to last December.

According to the Broome County District Attorney, 23-year-old Elijah Gibson pleaded guilty to the charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree. The D.A. says Gibson possessed a loaded and operable 9mm gun in the Village of Endicott on December 30, 2023.

Gibson is scheduled to be sentenced in September. It is expected that he will be sentenced to five years in state prison and three years of post-release supervision.
