Endicott Man Charged in Tioga County After Shooting Animal in Head

An Endicott man is facing charges in Tioga County after the sheriff's office says he shot an animal in the head.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff's Office, Jeffrey W. Wike was arrested and charged with Aggravated Cruelty to Animals and Criminal Mischief after an investigation into an incident in which Wike shot a companion animal in the head with a firearm.
There is no word on the condition of the animal.
Wike was arraigned and released on his own recognizance and will appear in court at a later date.
