A 10-month narcotic investigation leads to charges for two Delaware County residents.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, interviews were conducted and hours of surveillance of a Speedway gas station and the suspects' residence were conducted during the investigation.

A traffic stop on January 3rd on a vehicle owned and operated by one of the suspects, Dennis Fickeria, Jr., resulted in fentanyl being discovered in the vehicle by a K9.

Later that evening, a search warrant was executed on the suspect residence in the 1500 block of Jones Hollow Road in Middletown, NY.

Fentanyl, meth, cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug money, along with a total of 31 guns were found in the home. The value of the fentanyl was between $8,000 to $12,000.

Fickeria was charged with the following:

  • Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree
  • Eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree
  • Four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree
  • One count of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance in the 7th degree
  • Two counts of Criminally Using of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
  • One count of Speeding in 55mph zone

The other suspect, Deirdre Vincent, was charged with the following after the search warrant execution:

  • Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree
  • Eight counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree
  • Four counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree
  • One count of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance in the 7th degree
  • Two counts of Criminally Using of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree

Both were additionally charged on Wednesday with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 1st degree.

The office adds that Fickeria was charged with selling drugs back in 2016. He served five years of probation.
