On Monday, November 20th, kindergarten students at Thomas J. Watson Sr. Elementary School prepared 60 lunches for the Sara Jane Johnson Soup Kitchen in Johnson City.

The lunches consist of sandwiches, apples, chips, and handmade cards in each bag. The lunches will be a part of the kitchen's Thanksgiving feast.

"It's like a dream come true, you know, you like hope as a little kid to be able to make an impact on the world and I hope that, you know, they tell their family about it and their siblings and they remember that that's something that they can do in their lives to make someone life better," Kindergarten and First-grade Special Education Teacher Marykate Blessing said.

The lunches will be delivered to Sara Jane Johnson Soup Kitchen on Tuesday, November 21st.
