Four Charged After Search Warrant Executed in Binghamton
Four people were arrested and charged after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force along with the Binghamton Police Department Community Response Team and Patrol Division conducted a search of a Baxter Street residence in the City of Binghamton.
The Task Force says members found drugs, drug paraphernalia, money, a stolen gun and ammunition at 35 Baxter Street.
Specifically, members discovered a loaded .38 special Colt brand revolver that was stolen from Johnson City, .38 ammunition, $3,540 in suspected drug proceeds, 42 Oxycontin prescription pills, and items used for packaging and weighing narcotics.
Jaime M. Marte-Viera, Juan M. Genao, Sincere Pryor, and Tyrone K. Howell were all arrested and charged.
Marte-Viera was charged with one count apiece of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd and 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Obstruction of Governmental Administration.
Genao was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree and two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.
Pryor was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, while Howell was charged with Criminal Impersonation.
