The Delaware County Sheriff's Office announces several arrests for various infractions in the county.
The office says a Brooklyn resident was charged after a two-vehicle head-on crash on County Highway 26. The office says Andras Kasuba crossed over the yellow line and struck another vehicle.
Kasuba was charged with DWI, DWI with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) Greater than 0.08 percent, Aggravated DWI with a BAC Greater than 0.18%, Unlicensed Operator, Speed not Reasonable and Prudent, Moved from Lane Unsafely, Failure to Keep Right, Driver’s View Obstructed, Obstructed License Plate, and three counts of Assault in the 3rd degree.
Two people who were in the other vehicle were taken to Delaware Valley Hospital for treatment.
Andrew Ridikas of Walton was arrested and charged after he was observed driving recklessly at a high rate of speed on Delaware Street.
During the stop, Ridikas showed signs of impairment by a substance other than alcohol, according to the office. He was charged with one count of Speed Not Reasonable and Imprudent, Reckless Driving, and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.
A Franklin woman has been charged with DWI more than two months after a rollover crash on State Highway 38.
The office says Cassidy Uzenski was the driver of the car that rolled over just after 3:30 a.m. on January 14th.
Uzenski was arrested on March 28th and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) .08 percent or more, Moved from Lane Unsafely, Fail to Keep Right and Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.
Deanna Macintyre of Hobart was charged after an investigation into a domestic incident in Hobart.
The office says Macintyre and another person were involved in the domestic and during the incident, Macintyre hit a cell phone out of the other person's hand in order to keep them from calling 911.
She was charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree.
Daniel P. Schultz of Margaretville was charged after a traffic stop. The stop was initiated after Schultz was observed improperly passing another vehicle on State Highway 28 while riding a motorcycle.
During the stop, it was discovered that Schultz's driving privileges had been revoked due to previous DWI incidents.
Schultz was charged with one count of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the 2nd degree, Use of a Motor Vehicle without Interlock Device, Unlicensed Operator and Improper Passing.
Michael Vandermark of Deposit was arrested and charged after a traffic stop on State Highway 8.
Vandermark's driving privileges were suspended. He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd degree and Speeding.
A Chadwicks resident was charged with one count of Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the Third Degree after a traffic stop on State Highway 28 in Delhi.
Brian Jayakumar was stopped after he was seen driving a vehicle with an expired inspection. It was determined his driving privileges were suspended.
In addition to the above charge, he was also charged with Unlicensed Operator and Uninspected Motor Vehicle.
Edwin Teron of Middletown, NY was charged after a crash on County Highway 16 in Delhi. It was discovered Teron's driving privileges were suspended.
He was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the 3rd degree, Unlicensed Operator, Obstructed View and Speed Not Reasonable or Prudent.
