The Binghamton Rumble Ponies opened up their home series with the Portland Sea Dogs at Mirabito Stadium with a 9-0 win. Carlos Cortes went 3-5 with 2 RBIs and a run scored while Yoel Romero went 2-3 with a RBI and run scored. Jose Butto pitched 6 scoreless innings striking out 4 batters.

 

Binghamton and Portland are back at it with a doubleheader tomorrow night at Mirabito Stadium, game 1 begins at 5:35pm.
