BDevs Open Season with Back-to-Back OT Wins
It has been an exciting start to the 2021 Season for the Binghamton Devils. After trailing by 2 goals in the third period in their opener Monday against Wilkes/Barre-Scranton, the Devils game back to down the Penguins 4-3 in overtime. Then last night the Devils found themselves down a goal in the third period against Lehigh Valley. Once again they tied it up and ended up winning the contest on overtime.
Sitting at 2-0 following a pair of impressive comeback wins, Binghamton Devils Head Coach Mark Dennehy is impressed with his teams perseverance.
“Again I really commend the player's efforts and sticktoitiveness to come back,” says Dennehy. “We’re a young team and I thought tonight we kind of dipped our toe in against a good Lehigh Valley team that really pressured us and did some things that we’re going to have to make some adjustments to. But I thought we stuck with it and obviously got better as the game went on.”
