A Chenango Valley senior lacrosse player has announced where he’ll be playing the next 4 years.

Midfielder Jakob Emm has signed his National Letter of Intent to play for Division 2 Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina. Along with lacrosse Emm played football and wrestled for the Warriors. He also played travel lacrosse for the Gaffers Elite team based in Corning. When he’s not on the field or in the classroom Emm loves being outdoors whether it be snowboarding, skateboarding or something else. That’s part of what led him to agree to play for the Bobcats.

“Small school, small class sizes, and the location is perfect right in the mountains, I like being in the woods,” says Emm.

Emm will be majoring in Wildlife Biology and hopes to become a Park Ranger for the National Parks.
