A Supreme Court Judge is in the process of reviewing around 2,400 challenged ballots in the race for New York's 22nd Congressional District seat.

Judge Scott DelConte started the process in Oswego County Supreme Court Monday. The judge got through challenged ballots from two of the eight counties that make up New York's 22nd District. The review will resume on Tuesday morning.

Ahead of the review, Republican Claudia Tenney was up over Democrat Anthony Brindisi by around 19 votes. Tenney's lead had been just 11 votes, but the former congresswoman picked up a few more in Chenango County during the canvassing of ballots that hadn't been included in the original vote tallies.
