Tonight we head out to Wildcat Country as we take a look at Johnson City 3 sport athlete Jake Carpenter.

Carpenter participated in golf, indoor track, and lacrosse for Johnson City. He played a major role in back to back sectional lacrosse titles for the Wildcats. He also earned team MVP honors in lacrosse and golf along with being named captain of JC’s golf squad. Carpenter says it’s tough losing his senior lacrosse season but that he will always cherish his time at Johnson City.

“Probably my best memories are just the little things,” says Carpenter. “Like getting to practice every day and grinding with your friends. Team dinners stuff like that, just messing around in the locker room, that’s the best stuff ever and you’re not going to get that back.”

Off the field, he was a member of Varsity Club, French Club, A2A, Spirit Club, and was his Class Treasurer. Carpenter will be continuing his lacrosse career at St.John Fisher where he will be majoring in Inclusive Childhood Education.
