Two women have been arrested in Binghamton for possession of heroin and crack cocaine, and probation violations.


The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant this afternoon at 174 Murray Street in the City of Binghamton.


Angel N. Feringa was arrested after she was found in possession of 36 grams of unpackaged, powder heroin, 22 bags of packaged heroin, two plastic knotted wraps containing crack cocaine and approximately $550.00 in U.S. currency of suspected drug proceeds.


Feringa was also wanted on an active arrest warrant for Grand Larceny out of the City of Binghamton Court. Another occupant of the apartment, Stacey L. Taylor, was found to be wanted on a Probation Violation warrant and was also arrested. The Task Force was assisted on scene by patrol members of the Binghamton Police Department.


Feringa and Taylor are both being held at the Binghamton Police Department pending their arraignments tomorrow in the City of Binghamton Court.
