On Wednesday, March 23rd water service will be interrupted between Robinson and East Frederick St on Howard Ave from about 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM.


According to the City of Binghamton this is due to the need for repair and/or maintenance to the water main.


Residents are asked to not attempt to use your water service during this time period. Such use may damage your meter, pipes, appliances and/or clothing in the washing machine. The City of Binghamton will not be responsible for any damage caused by the use of the water service during this time period.


The Water department will flush all transmission lines after the work is completed. You may have some water discoloration or cloudiness may still appear after the above mentioned hours.


The city asks to please check the cold water supply before using any water in your home. For a short period of time, it may be necessary to run the cold water only to clear your service.
