The Lady Bearcats pulled off one of the best comebacks in program history on Saturday coming back from down 40-26 at the end of the 3rd to beat UMass Lowell 55-52. They scored more points (28) in the 4th quarter than they had in the previous three quarters. A bit reason for their success was a tenacious full court press.

"At one point we were down 14 and we had to figure out what we had to do to get some energy and some steals and some quick scores, said Head Coach Linda Cimino. "I think Alyssa [James] did a great job. McKayla Hernandez did an unbelievable job on the ball pressuring and they played really good team defense. I'm glad that our press worked at the end and I thought we did an unbelievable job not turning the ball over. I think we had six turnovers and I think that was the difference, we had six, they had 21 so at the end of the day I think that was the difference in the game."
