Bearcats and Catamounts both hungry heading into mathcup
It may sound obvious that when heading into a game, any team wants to win. That being said, there's added emphasis to Thursday's America East matchup between BU and Vermont. The Bearcats are winless in four conference games and the Catamounts are coming off an upset loss at the hands of UMass Lowell. With the season Vermont is having, expect them to be more than ready to go this time out.
"Maine didn't do us any favors right before the Albany game, they beat Albany and we get a hungry Albany team and then Lowell upsets Vermont at Vermont and we get a hungry Vermont team," said Head Coach Tommy Dempsey. "But you know what, we're hungry too and we need a win. So, I know Vermont is going to come in here coming off a tough loss and really be ready to go. But we're 0-4 so we have that same mentality so we're really hungry for something that can jump start us. If we can find a win against a good Vermont team who knows what that can lead to as we move forward."
Tip-off scheduled at the Events Center at 7:00.
