The Broome County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest involving a vehicle that was stolen earlier this month.

35 year old Jeremy Sickles of Whitney Point was arrested Tuesday by a Broome County Sheriff’s Deputy after being released from Cortland County on separate charges.

An investigation revealed that a 2001 Pontiac was taken from a residence on Barker Road between December 23 and December 31 while no one was home.

The owner of the vehicle received notification from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office that her car had been impounded and the operator, Sickles, had been arrested on separate charges. Sickles and the owner of the stolen vehicle had been in a relationship which ended several months ago.

Sickles was charged with Grand Larceny of an automobile, a Class E felony, and arraigned in the Town of Triangle Court. He was remanded to the Broome County Jail.
