A ruling unfavorable to the quest of local State Senate Candidate Denver Jones was handed down today.


This means the candidate will not get extra time to obtain necessary signatures to be on the special election ballot. Denver Jones tells Fox 40 that he will evaluate the situation and will petition to get on the ballot. He said the response from a judge today does not preclude other actions.


By the way, the election is in November and August 21st is the deadline for its voter registration.
