JC Man Indicted in Parade Day Crash
A Johnson City man was indicted Friday on a slew of charges in connection to a Parade Day crash in Downtown Binghamton which led to a young woman losing part of her leg.
Duane Felton Jr is charged with two counts of assault in the first degree, reckless endangerment, and two counts of assault in the third degree. The Broome County District Attorney's office says Felton grabbed the steering wheel of a car on March 7th and steered it into a group of pedestrians.
The District Attorney's office says Felton tried to injure the driver Nutanie Saysanavong but instead struck Meghan Madden. Madden needed to have her leg amputated below the knee as a result of the crash. Saysanavong was charged with DWI after the crash.
