A motorcyclist is killed following a three-vehicle crash in Chenango County.


Sheriff's say the accident happened around 3:10 Thursday afternoon at the intersection of State Highway 26 and County Road 16 in the Town of

Otselic.


Authorities say an out-of-state male was operating a motorcyle that was travelling northbound on highway 26 when it struck a van that was turning east on to County Road 16. The motorcycle then veered off and struck a truck. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is not being released until his next of kin has been notified. No one else was injured and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
