New York State police are looking for the suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store on 68 West Front Street in Hancock.


Police say the suspect carjacked a Family Dollar employee at gun point just after 10 p.m. Saturday night.


The suspect, described as a Hispanic male about 5'10" with a medium build, forced the employee to reopen the store and took an undisclosed amount of money from the store's safe.


The suspect then had the employee drive him outside of town where to then took off in a small dark colored vehicle. Reports also claim the man was armed wearing dark colored clothing and a bandanna over his face.


State police urge anyone with information to call them at 775-1241.
