Police continue to investigate an accident which sent a Binghamton man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The two-car crash happened Thursday night at about 8:50 near 6169 Route 79 in the Town of Fenton. Police say Charles Furman was travelling eastbound when he crossed over to the westbound lane and struck another driver head-on. Furman was airlifted to Wilson Hospital.
