Having been to the postseason in the previous two seasons, this time around, the Bearcats softball team knows what to expect. They've been eliminated in the conference semifinals each of their last two trips and are looking to avoid a similar fate this season.

For those that are new to the program, the returning veterans are passing on knowledge they've gathered from their experience.

"It can get a little big," said first baseman Lisa Cadogan. "You can start thinking about games in the future and I think we just have to take one game at a time and worry about who we're playing that day."

"The tournament can get kind of exciting because it's postseason," said right fielder Sydney Harbaugh. "But I think the biggest thing we can pass on as upper classmen is that we can just go and relax and play like we have been and remember that it's just a game and we just need to have fun."

BU plays Albany on Thursday at 3:30. This year's tournament is being held at top seeded Stony Brook.
