With Maine-Endwell churning out several Division I players in the last few years, it's a wonder that Tuesday was the first time two M-E swimmers committed to D-I colleges. Dylan Wasilnack committed to Lafayette and Nick Rogers to Niagara. For them, being a part of the historic day is an honor.

"I'm very honored to be one of the first two swimmers from Maine-Endwell to go Division I swimming, but not so much the division that mattered as it was the right school," Rogers said.

"It shows that our class, to have two of us, we have a very good swim class shown by we have four consecutive state titles," Wasilnack said. "So it just shows that we're very diverse in our swim team."

Rogers plans on studying Criminal Justice while Wasilnack wants to go into engineering, though he's not sure what kind yet.
