An experienced Attorney announced his candidacy Thursday for the position of Broome County Court Judge.


Republican Kevin Dooley has been a Broome County resident for the past thirty five years. Dooley says he's gained thirty five years of experience with the criminal justice system by working in the Broome County District Attorney's office as well as holding the title of Assistant to the United States Attorney Department of Justice. In 2005, Dooley says he volunteered to assist in the investigation of genocide and war crimes in Baghdad.


Senior Assistant DA, Kevin Dooley said, " Because of the jobs that I've held and the responsibilities I've been given, I think those that have entrusted me with those responsibilities have been satisfied with the work I've done and I feel very confident that I can do an excellent job as the next County Court Judge."


Voters head to the polls on November 3rd.
