With budget negotiations underway in Albany, Governor Cuomo is pushing his property tax relief program by breaking down by county how much homeowners could save.


According to the Governor's math homeowners in Broome County would get an average credit of $686, those in Tioga County would see a $650 credit on average. In Delaware County that number is $778 dollars. If approved the $1.66 billion program would be available to homeowners with incomes below $250,000 whose property taxes exceed six percent of their income.
